Meet Sandra Mwape
Hi! I’m Sandra – Founder of Sandy Dee’s Little Stars Childminding
My journey into childminding began after I took two years off work to care for my premature son. During that time, I fell in love with the process of watching children grow and thrive when given the right care and attention. Seeing my son flourish was such a beautiful experience it inspired me to provide that same level of love, support, and value to other children who need it.
I became a registered childminder in 2004 and have since had the privilege of caring for children from a wide range of backgrounds. I always strive to meet each child’s individual needs, working closely with families to ensure consistency and care tailored to their preferences.
My core mission is to make sure every child in my setting feels safe, at home, and truly included in our daily activities. That’s why the slogan for Sandy Dee’s is:
“A place to have fun, learn and shine.”
Meet Tolu Lateefah
Hi! I’m Tolu Childcare Assistant at Sandy Dee’s Little Stars
Hi! My name is Tolu, and I absolutely love working with children watching them grow, develop, and shine is truly rewarding.
At Sandy Dee’s, I work closely with the children, supporting their learning, development, and day-to-day experiences in line with the EYFS framework. Whether it's helping them explore new activities or cheering on their little milestones, I’m always there to make sure they feel confident, happy, and included.
In addition to working hands-on with the children, I also manage internal communications and admin, helping the team stay organised and the setting run smoothly. I take pride in making sure every child not only meets their developmental goals but also has a blast while doing it.

Hello! My name is JT, and I’ve been a dedicated childminding assistant at Sandy Dee’s Childcare since October 2023. Since joining the team, I’ve grown confidently into my role and continue to develop both professionally and personally in this rewarding environment.

With over a decade of experience in nursery settings, working here has further enhanced my skills and deepened my passion for early years care.
