Sandy Dee Childcare was founded in 2004 by the owner Sandra Mwape.
The business has grown throughout the years and has seen children from all different backgrounds and walks of life come through the door.
After 15 years running the business independently, Sandy Dee Childcare recently took on an assistant due to the large volume of kids which on are on her books.
Meet Sandra Mwape
“Hi! I’m Sandra.
I decided to become a childminder because after taking 2 years off my previous job due to having a premature son, I fell in love with seeing kids grow and getting the necessary care they needed.
Seeing my son grow was beautiful and I wanted to have the same impact and provide value to children who needed it.
I have been registered since 2004 and have looked after children from all back grounds and maintained their individual needs according to parents’ requests.
My main goals are to make sure that all children feel safe, at home and included in our day-to-day activities hence why the slogan for my company is “A place to have fun, learn and shine”.”

“Hi! I’m Rachelle and I recently joined the team and have been loving serving the kids ever since.
I love to see kids grow and flourish and working closely with the kids has been a joy.”
Meet Tolu Lateefah
"Hi! My name is Tolu and I love children, seeing their development and ultimately seeing them shine.
I work closely with the children supporting with their development, learning and growth.
I also support all Internal communications and admin. I support the team organising activities, ensuring children EYFS needs are met and children have a blast when they're in the setting!"
